Although we are not spending as much time in Colombia, we are still visiting Café Illusion every time we are in Pereira and see the wonderful work that they are doing for the children.
Our 7th annual fundraiser of last November, brought in $2,900.00.
Unfortunately, less than expected.
100% of the donation goes to Café Ilusión as no expenses are taken from the donation.

Dear Friends in the USA
Once again, as another year goes on, we reach out to you to express our renewed GRATITUDE for your unwavering loyalty and the support you have been generously giving—for years now—to the children and adolescents of the Café Ilusión Foundation. Without a doubt, this support is of paramount importance to us—both financially and emotionally—as it allows us to feel supported and reminds us that we are not alone in our desire to help improve these young people's real chances of getting ahead in life.
On this occasion, we wish to share with you the IMMENSE JOY we feel when the "little grains of sand"—young people who left the Foundation some time ago because they had learned to "fly" on their own—come back to visit us. Proud of themselves, they tell us how they are doing, where they are working, the wages they are earning, and how this now enables them to help their own families... It is truly moving, and we WISH WITH ALL OUR HEARTS to share this feeling with all of you, for we are all part of the same PROJECT: CAFÉ ILUSIÓN!!!
